When you need diploma and transcript translation
You need a certified translation when a university admissions office, credential evaluator, employer, or licensing board asks for English or their local language versions of your diploma, transcript, or degree certificate. Diploma or transcript — what is actually different
They are usually ordered together and usually spoken of as one thing, but they are two different documents doing two different jobs, and they fail in opposite ways.
The diploma states a conclusion
One page, few words, every one of them load-bearing: the institution, the degree, the field, the date, the signatures and the seal. The register is often formal and sometimes archaic, and the degree title frequently has no exact counterpart in the receiving country's system.
Because it is short, an error here tends to be visible. A wrong degree name or a misread date is the sort of thing a registrar catches immediately — which is inconvenient but at least it is caught.
The transcript states the evidence
Many pages, densely repetitive: course titles, credit values, grades, the scale those grades sit on, terms, resits, withdrawals, and often a legend that explains the whole thing in small print at the foot of the last page.
Because it is long, an error here tends to be invisible. One course title rendered loosely, one credit value transposed, one grading legend skipped — and the mistake travels through the entire evaluation before anyone queries it. This is the document that rewards patience, and the reason a transcript takes longer than its page count suggests.
Which is why we ask for both together where both exist. Your name, the institution's name, the degree title and every recurring term must read identically across the two documents — and a registrar comparing them side by side will notice a discrepancy before they notice anything else.

Credential evaluator guidance
Credential evaluators do not evaluate our translation; they evaluate your original credentials against their own standards. What they need from us is a certified, absolute, complete translation that matches the original layout and preserves every grade, credit, and seal.

Requirements differ between evaluators and change without notice. Check the instructions for your own file rather than relying on any summary, including this one — and if the office has given you a written requirement, send it to us and we will tell you plainly whether we can meet it.
Pricing and turnaround
Certified diploma and transcript translation is priced at €23.50 per page, confirmed at checkout before any charge. Volume discounts apply automatically from three pages upward, reaching 25% at seven or more — which most transcripts reach on their own.
Turnaround ranges from same-day delivery to five business days; shorter deadlines are available at checkout and the exact deadline is shown before you pay.
Limits of our undertaking
We do not convert grades to another scale or interpret credentials. We officially translate exactly what appears on your documents; any correction to the original must come from the issuing school.
We do not guarantee acceptance by a specific office, because every institution sets its own rules. If a translation is refused because of the quality or certification form of our work, send us the authority's written reason within thirty days and we will correct it or fully refund it.
We do not issue apostilles or perform notarial acts. We translate documents, including ones that are already apostilled or notarized, but the apostille or notary seal itself must come from the competent authority that issued the original document.
How to prepare your file
- Send clear scans of every page, front and back, including stamps, seals, and any apostille.
- Include the transcript as a separate file in page order, not merged into the diploma image.
- Include the grading legend, wherever it appears. It is usually in small print at the foot of the last page, and it is the key to every grade above it.
- Tell us the receiving institution and country, and the spelling of your name as it appears on your identity documents.
- Let us know your deadline and any specific formatting requirement the office has given you.
