Cookie Policy

EnLatin sets no cookies. One item is stored on your device: your answer to the cookie question itself.

Last updated: August 2026

What is stored, precisely

This is the complete list. Not a summary of it.

enlatin_cookie_consent — stored in your browser’s local storage, first-party, holding only whether you accepted or declined and the date you did. It exists so we do not ask you the same question on every page. It is not a cookie, it is never transmitted to us, and it contains nothing about you.

That is all. There is no session cookie, no tracking pixel, no advertising identifier, no analytics beacon, and no third-party script placing anything on your device.

What is not here

Because a list of absences is worth as much as a list of presences, and because most sites in this field will not print one:

How to remove it

Clearing your browser’s site data for enlatin.net removes the consent record. Nothing breaks — you will simply be asked the question again on your next visit.

You can also decline at the banner. Declining changes nothing about how the site works — there is nothing to switch off. The record of your refusal is itself the only thing stored, which is a small irony we cannot avoid: to remember that you said no, we have to remember something.

How long it lasts

The consent record stays until you clear your site data. It has no expiry because it holds nothing that goes stale.

If this ever changes

If we ever introduce anything that stores data on your device — and we have no present intention to — this page will name it, say what it does, and say how long it lasts, before it is deployed rather than after. The date at the top will change with it.
