Proof

Anyone can call themselves certified. This page lists what we claim and sorts it by one question only — can you check it without asking us? Most of it you can, and the links below go to the certifiers’ own databases rather than to pictures of certificates.

Start here: check a translation without contacting us

Every certified translation carries a code in the form EL-260722-1206-a1b2c3d4, printed on the document. Enter it and you will see whether the order exists, its language pair, page count and delivery date. No account, no email, no waiting for us to reply — which is the point: a certification you must take on faith is not proof of anything.

Receiving officers, registrars and opposing counsel use this directly. If a document claiming to be ours does not verify, it is not ours.

What you can check yourself

Each row links to a register held by somebody other than us. Nothing here depends on our word.

What the authorities require, and what we deliver

We do not claim that particular institutions endorse us — that is a claim about other people, and we could not prove it if we made it. What can be shown is the published requirement set against what a certified EnLatin translation contains.

Published requirementWhat we deliver
Complete translation of the whole document, including stamps, seals and marginal notesEvery element rendered, with the original’s structure preserved so the two can be read side by side.
A signed statement attesting to the translation’s accuracy and the translator’s competenceBoth attested, with the philologist named rather than a company.
Certification identifiable and traceable to its issuerThe EnLatin stamp and a verifiable order code the receiving office can check independently.
For some jurisdictions: a translator registered with a particular courtA separate service tier. Where it applies, we say so before you order rather than after — sworn translation.

The requirement by receiving authority sets out which applies to your destination.

What is internal, and admitted as such

These are real records, kept per order, and we will produce them for a client or an auditor who asks. But they are ours, and a page about proof should not pretend otherwise.

Reviews, by source

Two sources, kept apart so you can weigh each on its own terms: one held by a platform we do not control, one collected by us.

Independent

ProZ.com — 5.0 from 9 entries, Certified PRO. Entered by clients and colleagues on a professional platform, where the record stands as they left it.

Collected by us

Feedback clients send us directly, published on our reviews page and labelled as ours. Every entry is tied to a completed order.

We offer nothing in exchange for a review and remove no criticism. Further independent profiles will be listed here once they hold entries.

If the work is wrong

If a receiving authority refuses a translation because of our work — its accuracy, its completeness, or the form of its certification — we correct it at no charge, or refund the order in full. Send the order code and what the authority told you.

You have 14 days from completion to raise it, and files remain downloadable until day 45. The full lifecycle is here; a missed deadline has its own remedy — immediate notification, the cause named, and your choice of a new time or a full refund with nothing deducted.

Write to salve@enlatin.net. Order portal messages are usually answered within minutes; email within a few hours and always within a day.
