1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to EnLatin. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
2. Services We Provide
EnLatin provides certified legal translation services across 7 languages. Services include: Certified translation, Sworn translation, Certified & Sworn translation, and Professional translation. We translate documents including diplomas, certificates, passports, bank statements, wills, invoices, medical records, state documents, letters, and other legal materials. All translations are performed by qualified translators and reviewed by a second linguist where applicable.
3. Orders and Payment
- Quotes are valid for the duration specified on the quote page.
- Payment is required in full before work begins, processed securely via Stripe.
- Prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes.
- Volume discounts are applied automatically based on total certified page count.
- Free page tickets may be redeemed at checkout subject to validation.
- URGENT orders must be paid within 10 minutes of creation; otherwise they are automatically cancelled and refunded.
4. Delivery and Turnaround
- Standard delivery times are calculated from payment confirmation and are binding.
- Delivery times vary by service level: 5 business days (bd_5), 4 days (d_4), 3 days (d_3), 2 days (d_2), 24 hours (h_24), or 16 hours (urgent_16).
- Delivered files are accessible via your secure order portal for 14 days.
- We are not liable for delays caused by force majeure, client failure to provide complete documents, or technical failures beyond our control.
5. Revisions and Change Requests
- Clients may request changes within 14 days of delivery via the order portal.
- The first round of corrections for clear errors is complimentary.
- Subsequent change requests or requests altering the original scope may incur additional fees.
- After 3 change request rounds, the order enters an investigation state. The platform will review whether further revisions are warranted.
6. Intellectual Property
- You retain all rights to your original documents.
- Upon full payment, you receive full rights to the completed translation.
- We retain the right to use anonymized, aggregated data for service improvement.
- We do not claim ownership of your documents or translations.
7. Confidentiality
All documents and communications are treated as strictly confidential. Translators and reviewers are bound by Non-Disclosure Agreements. Files are stored securely and deleted 45 days after order completion unless earlier deletion is requested.
8. Limitation of Liability
- EnLatin's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific order in question.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
- We do not guarantee acceptance by any specific government office, court, or institution; acceptance policies vary by jurisdiction.
- Clients are responsible for verifying that the chosen certification type meets the requirements of the receiving institution.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Athens, Greece. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation before initiating legal proceedings.
