Preparing your experience

Warranty & Authenticity

Two separate promises. The warranty says what we undertake the translation to be, and what happens if it is not. Authenticity is the means by which anyone — you, a registrar, opposing counsel — can confirm a document presented as ours actually is.

What we warrant

Of every certified translation we deliver, three things:

What we cannot warrant

That an institution will accept your document. No translator can promise that, and one who does is promising you something they do not control: requirements change, offices differ, and a file can be refused for reasons that have nothing to do with language. What we undertake is narrower and enforceable — that the translation will not be the reason for a refusal. Where it is, the remedy below applies without argument.

For how long

What you get if we are wrong

Correction at no charge, for as long as it takes to be right. We do not limit the number of rounds where the fault is ours, and we do not ask you to demonstrate that the error was serious enough to qualify.

Where correction cannot serve the purpose — the deadline has passed, the filing is closed — a full refund instead. And where we miss a delivery time we accepted, you hear immediately with the cause named, then choose: a new time we can meet, or a full refund with nothing deducted for work already done.

Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. The full terms · how refunds work.

What the warranty does not cover

How a translation is proved to be ours

Three things travel with every certified translation, and each can be checked independently of the others.

Entering that code at our verification page confirms the order exists and shows its language pair, page count and delivery date. It requires no account and no contact with us, which is the point: a certification that must be taken on trust proves nothing.

It also works the other way. A document presented as ours that does not verify is not ours. If you are an institution and a code fails, send us the document and we will tell you what we find.

What verification does not show is the document or anything in it. Those belong to the client, not to whoever is holding the code.

Raising a claim

Through your order portal, which is fastest, or by writing to salve@enlatin.net with the order code. Tell us what is wrong and, where an authority is involved, what they told you. Urgent matters are answered within an hour or two, around the clock; everything else within a day.
